Chapel Trail images

One convenient way to slog out into a marsh without getting your feet wet is to walk the boardwalk at Chapel Trail Nature Preserve in Pembroke Pines, near our south Florida home.

  1. We even have a few boardwalks here in Oklahoma to venture out into marshes an swampy areas. Very handy. You got such a great variety of birds, some of whom I have never heard of before like a Anhinga and Swamp Hens.
    Have a great 2020!!

  16. Am glad you can walk and see Chapel Trail without your feet 9and more) getting wet! I can imagine weather conditions can cause migration of certain birds:) The swamp hen is such a colorful blue! Your post exudes the quietness and peace of early morning. You seem to be more than ready to start a New Year -cheers to that! And many thanks for all your beautiful posts of 2019 you sent to All Seasons:)

  20. I love all your birds! That would be a fun board walk! A lot of these birds we don't have in Arizona. For example, an Ovenbird would be rare.
