Each month I enjoy looking back over my archived photos, taken three years previously, to remember how things were then and what I now am missing this month in our new Connecticut home. As usual, I searched for images which reflect favorite memes: critters of all kinds (especially birds), skies and clouds, reflections, flowers and butterflies, as well as scenes which speak for themselves.
We spent the entire month of March at home in south Florida, mostly walking and birding in the local Wounded Wetlands.
It was a busy month, with 453 photos processed. On March 1 we welcomed the early migratory warblers...

ReplyDeleteThere are some truly remarkable photographs here. They give such a good idea of the fascinating variety of birds. The mottled duck reflecting itself looks almost unreal. I am not familiar with these lovely fowl, and I also like the picture of them flying, with those beautifully choreographed feathers making such rhythmic patterns. How prehistoric the Wood Stork looks. My favourites, perhaps, are the Warblers, they embody to me what a little bird "ought" to look like, if that makes sense!
